Welcome to our websites! We are Word of Life Christian Church.Our aim is to provide both spiritual and practical help to foreigners. Our desire and efford is to help foreigners feel welcome in this country and that they can really feel at home. As Christians we desire to show them our hospitality, God's love and acceptance.
On these webpage's you will find information relating to both the Christian faith and God's plan for us; and practical information concerning daily living here in the Czech Republic. Our effort is to gather and make available specific information for each ethnic minority living in the Czech Republic.
If you are interested in spiritual questions and what Christians really believe, we would like to welcome you to our regular Alpha course, which is a series of 12 evenings that involves eating together and discussions on a certain topic.The course is held regularly twice a year, you can find more information on: www.uk.alpha.org and you can register here: www.slovozivota.cz/cirkve_v_cr/brno/kurzy_alfa/kurzy_alfa.
We would also like to invite you to our Sunday service, which includes contemporary worship music and practical sermons from the Bible. The sermon topics include our spiritual life and other areas of our lives like relationship with people, marriage and upbringing of children. All are welcome to our Sunday meetings where we joyfully celebrate the goodness of God. We also have a program for children held parallel with the Sunday service which starts at 10am. English translation is also provided (Arabic translation is possible with your request.) You are warmly welcome!
Further, we would like to invite young people and students to a youth meeting, which is held every Tuesday at 6pm in the same place.
